Volunteering Matters is a national charity that brings people together to overcome some of society’s most complex issues through the power of volunteering.

It partners with communities to overcome adversity, tackle social isolation and loneliness, improve health, develop skills and opportunity and make sure young people can lead change. And because they’re a national charity, they do this at scale, sharing their expertise and building partnerships to make an even bigger impact.

Volunteering Matters turn local knowledge and energy into action and progress, building stronger communities and a better future for all.

In October 2020 the charity launched its new strategy – Our Manifesto for Change. Based on the impact its volunteers and programmes have in communities across the UK. Their mission is to bring people together through volunteering to build stronger communities so that everyone has an opportunity to thrive.
