Jake Ferguson

Jake is CEO at Hackney CVS, one of the biggest local infrastructure charities in London. In his 20 years with the organisation, Jake has overseen the delivery of partnership and grant programmes worth over £25m and co-founded the Young Black Men’s Strategic programme with Hackney Council and local community representatives which aims to reduce disproportionately poor outcomes for young men of African Heritage. At the heart of Jake’s strategic thinking is one focussed on equality, equity, fairness and genuine community empowerment which puts those affected by structural racism, poverty or disadvantage at the heart of solutions. Jake currently serves as a member of the Violence Reduction Unit Partnership Reference Group - which advises the Mayor of London about serious violence, the London Recovery Board chaired by Mayor of London, the Integrated Care Partnership Board for City & Hackney and is a trustee of NCVO.
